Earlier this month we went to Against the Grain for our Monthly Brunch. I’ve been pretty anxious to go to this because I’ve heard a lot about their beer menu, which was created by Stephen Beaumont. They had about 12 drafts on tap plus a bunch of bottles, some that are rare. This restaurant is located on the East side of Jarvis in the Corus building. It happened to be really nice day out so we were able to sit on the patio. The patio is meters from the lake so the scenery and people watching is awesome! The food was really good quality, though a bit on the expensive side.The thing I was impressed about was all the beers on tap had their own glassware. Also they were served the correct way with the logo facing the customer! A great restaurant I will be visiting again. Hope it survives the wintertime. It’s a bit secluded to make the trek there in the snow.
